Have you ever noticed that before sporting events (eg, football, basketball) you hear that the teams are watching films and studying their opponent? Players and coaches often use this approach to pinpoint weaknesses in their defense and offense. We on the Right could benefit from this strategy.

This past Election (2018), we became aware of some “resist Trump” groups that formed after the 2016 election. We learned how they are financed; how motivated and eager they are to regain control of the White House in 2020; as well as how these groups work together with actors, actresses, current members of congress, and the press. We believe it is important to share their plans so that we on the Right can prepare NOW and have a counter plan. To find out more about these groups, click here and read or print the handbook.

Recently, Swing Left updated their website and identified 11 “Super States” to focus on. They believe winning these 11 states, which include Maine, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Colorado, and Arizona, would give them back the Senate as well as the White House in 2020.

Swing Left, an important organization in the 2018 election, identified the congressional districts they needed to win or flip to win the house. Unfortunately, for the Right these efforts paid off.

On 4/5/2019, Hillary Clinton tweeted out to her followers an opportunity to learn how to organize and help Democrats win in 2020.

This new organization will pay organizers and teach them how to campaign effectively for the 2020 election.

Important to note: Once these people are trained, they will be sent to the 11 states mentioned above!

More About Organizing Corps 2020

In addition to Hillary Clinton’s tweet, Stacey Abrams, Arizona Democrat Party, Latino Victory, Disability Action PAC, and Florida Democrat Party have also been tweeting about Organizing Corps 2020 and spreading awareness of this new organization.

Questionable Funding Methods

Swing Left has TWO new funding methods. The first is the “Unify or Die” fund and the second is the “Swing the Senate Left Fund.” Organizing Corps has a donation page as well stating that it costs approximately $10,000 to support one organizer over the course of their program. Also, important to note is that the democrats.org website is promoting this. This new organization seems to be a product of the Democrats.

This is a way to hide money or, perhaps, a way for candidates to state they do NOT take PAC money.

How Can I help?

  • Contact your COUNTY Republican Party and let them know of the left’s plans. This is especially important if you live in one of the 11 “Super States”.
  • Contact Ronna McDaniel via social media or at https://www.gop.com/leaders/chairwoman-ronna-mcdaniel/
  • Sign up to volunteer for the Senators above (volunteer opportunities can be found on their personal websites).
  • Donate to the Senators above (we recommend donating directly to their campaign. Visit their personal website).
  • Spread the word on social media (Twitter and Facebook) that Pat Roberts and Lamar Jackson will be retiring. We need to have strong America First Senators running.
  • Promote Republicans who are running for Senate in Tennessee and Kansas on social media.
  • Be conscious of up and coming Republican contenders who might be challenging another Republican during a primary.
    • This is the time to spread the word in emails to family and friends and help support a candidate who would help President Trump and help the country rid itself of a Senator referred to as a Republican in name only (RINO).
  • Be aware that David Perdue, Susan Collins, Thom Tillis, John Cornyn, and Martha McSally live in states where Democrats will be spending large sums of money and promoting their Democrat candidates. If you reside in one of these states:
    • Inform the County Republican Party of the Democrats plan of action.
    • Sign up to volunteer and encourage family and friends to volunteer as well.
    • Promote and hold a get out and vote campaign.
